"I was aware of how broad the possibilities are; I needed to come up with some rules. I was also intrigued by serendipity and the poetry of images that you can find by searching through the books. Slowly, every day, I have been coming into the studio and fiddling around, thinking about art books as a form and new pathways through the library.
The painting points people in a direction to begin making connections, allowing the viewer to be the reader."
