Thirteen years ago, Jared Ginsburg began experimenting with ways to enlarge and enliven his nude drawings into works which could fill three-dimensional space. To maintain the solitude of his studio while working on a larger scale, he asked his now-wife Stephanie Anastasopoulos to teach him how to sew, exhibiting the first of his fleshy canvas limbs and torsos in a solo exhibition titled Body Parts (2013).

Inspired by these soft sculptures, Ginsburg collaborates with A4 Store to present pillow face (2026), a series of unique cushions embroidered with ten slight variations of the same face.
